Mary Fran Kosinski
Mary Fran graduated from Niagara University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. During her college career, Mary Fran volunteered at a number of organizations throughout Niagara County. Along with her volunteer work, Mary Fran also interned at ReNU Niagara, Niagara University’s community outreach arm.
After graduating, Mary Fran served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in the City of Niagara Falls. Her year of service focused on developing a one-stop, resource center for the homeless and at-risk population of Niagara Falls. During her year of service, she worked directly with the homeless population throughout Niagara County, gaining firsthand knowledge of the day-to-day challenges of living in poverty.
Mary Fran’s experience with the homeless population in Niagara County and genuine interest in eliminating homelessness in WNY led her to the Homeless Alliance. She is excited to be a part of the Homeless Alliance team and use her position to continue to combat homelessness throughout the region.
