Niagara University students are encouraged or required to participate in service learning opportunities. As a community partner, Niagara University students will connect with your agency or program in one or two different ways:

  • Project participant - students connect with your organization to complete a project or assist with a program to complete a minimum of 10 service hours. Service would typically be connected with a specific class and would require a contract and an evaluation from your organization. The student would be volunteering at your location on multiple occasions.
  • NUCAP Service participant - students would connect with your organization to complete a minimum of three service hours. These activities are typically prearranged between your organization and the Learn and Serve Office based on the needs of your area.
