Interested in giving back this holiday season? Then donate your time and volunteer during the Gingerbread Wonderland magic! Different volunteer positions include selling tickets, helping kids decorate cookies, write letters to Santa, create crafts, and more! The following shifts are available for volunteers:

The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to be mascots at the Lewiston Christmas Walk!
Dates: Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2
Times: 2 hour shifts each day (11-1; 1-3; 3-5)

NUSTEP is looking for volunteers to meet with high school juniors and seniors who will be visiting campus for field trips. They're looking for outgoing people who are involved on campus and can promote NU! Some dates and times include:

- Wednesday, Oct. 10, 11:05 – 12:00, 75 high school students from Clarence, this session includes lunch in Clet (if volunteers don’t have unlimited meal plans, I can give them a meal ticket to cover their lunch).

Canopy of Neighbors is looking for volunteers to assist with their senior population in:
1.) Driving seniors to medical, events and social appointments.
2.) Practical support volunteers will help with simple household repairs, yard work and technology.

Danceability, Inc. is looking for student volunteers! Danceability is a dance studio for children and adults who have special needs. The classes provide provide a one on one volunteer for every dancer who needs one. No Dance Experience Needed! Volunteers are placed into classes according to their availability, age preference and comfort level. They are trained ahead of time and be given constant assistance by teaching staff when needed. Equi-Star is looking for students to serve in their classes as horse handlers or sidewalkers. Their horse handlers work to ensure the safety of the horse throughout the hour long class to to be sure the horse is responding to the riders' cues. Sidewalkers are responsible for the safety and engagement of the riders, all of whom are afflicted with some type of mental, emotional or physical disability. SABAH is looking for volunteers for the following programs:
Spring sports program: Starting the week of April 30th. It is Monday through Thursdays from 9:30 am-12:30 pm and Fridays from 9:30 am-1:30 pm at the Riverside Rink 2607 Niagara Street Buffalo NY 14207 April 30-June 8th is Monday through Friday. June 13- June 29th is Wednesday through Friday 1 hour per day.
Football Clinic: Assist with the football clinic at the Riverside Rink. 2607 Niagara Street Buffalo, NY 14207 Saturday, July 14th from 10 am to 12 pm.
Summer Skating Program: At the Amherst Northtowns Rink. The Northtown Center at Amherst 1615 Amherst Manor Drive Williamsville, NY 14221. It is from 5:30 pm- 6:20 pm. Thursdays 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23.
The library is looking for NU students to create discipline-specific workshops for kids and adults. Examples include website development, excel training, health & wellness information, reading programs, etc. based on the student interested/expertise.
